Mole removal

Do you feel that a mole detracts from your appearance, or do you have concerns about whether it is benign or conceals the threat of melanoma?

Mole removal
Prior to actual mole removal, you will undergo detailed dermatological examination to determine whether your mole is benign and suitable for laser removal, or whether you will be recommended for in-depth examination with the FotoFinder device. This enables the physician to determine whether the mole can be removed with laser or whether it is more appropriate to remove it surgically and subsequently submit it for histological analysis.
How it works
The laser procedure takes only a few minutes; subsequently, the treated area must be covered with a plaster for approximately one week.
Laser removal leaves no scars following mole removal. A white patch may appear temporarily, which will fade over time.
For mole removal, it is preferable to schedule appointments during autumn and winter months when the skin is not exposed to high temperatures and solar radiation.
